Meet the New Boss

My dear Mac enthusiasts… the day we’ve long-feared is upon us… Steve Jobs is stepping down. While this news isn’t unexpected — rather quite the opposite — it’s still not easy news to take. It seems my uncanny sense of timing has surfaced once again.

Not two months ago, I write an article discussing how an inspiring visionary figure will often find greater success (and greater failure) than decision by committee, then this news arrives. Steve Jobs &mdash the most inspiring and visionary business pioneer we’ve seen in decades &mdash will be leaving his post as Apple CEO. While he won’t be completely absent from Apple’s future, one wonders how the company will change with him as Chairman of the Board, and eventually without his input entirely.
